THE DNA OF OUR COMPANY
Eva Filmes is a production company designed to carry out independent projects, created in 2020. The company seeks to professionalize and diversify the audiences reached by its works. In its essence, Eva Filmes was created to give space and voice to black people in the audiovisual sector, that's why our team is formed mainly by black people or people who are part of other identity minorities. Like her team, the themes treated by Eva Filmes speak of minorities with a focus on black representation in the audiovisual, seeking to bring a different look at the daily lives of these characters so often marginalized by the mainstream media.

Duas jovens, professora e ativista ecológica vivem suas rotinas numa cidade litorânea e enfrentam barreiras para atuarem em suas profissões em um sistema já pré-estabelecido. No entanto, persistem por seus ideais. Um rapaz chega ao bairro e canaliza a atenção delas por ser estrangeiro, mas que trabalha na zona portuária e isso as deixam incomodadas. Ele traz consigo o luto de ter perdido a sua mãe num ataque terrorista em seu país natal e a resiliência para continuar uma nova vida em outro lugar.

Exposição Rosto de Mulher
The Face of Woman exhibition seeks to open a direct dialogue with people from the periphery in rural and urban areas about violence against women.
The project will feature a photo essay created by Cuban artist Alejandra Glez in partnership with Nicole Sima. The idea is to invite NGO leaders on violence against women and women victims of violence. In addition, the exhibition will also feature lectures, chats with artists, documentary screening and teaser about the film "Silence has a woman's face".
We will also invite companies to participate in the exhibition in order to reach more people to discuss the topic.
